Paul Anderson, N.M.D.
Dr. Anderson is a recognized educator and clinician in integrative and naturopathic medicine with a focus on complex infectious, chronic, and oncologic illness. In addition to three decades clinical experience, he also was head of the interventional arm of a US-NIH funded human research trial using IV and integrative therapies in cancer patients. He founded Advanced Medical Therapies in Seattle, Washington, a clinic focusing on cancer and chronic diseases and now focuses his time in collaboration with clinics and hospitals in the US and other countries.
Former positions include multiple medical school posts, Professor of Pharmacology and Clinical Medicine at Bastyr University and Chief of IV Services for Bastyr Oncology Research Center. He is co-author of the Hay House book “Outside the Box Cancer Therapies” with Dr. Mark Stengler as well as a co-author with Jack Canfield in the anthology “Success Breakthroughs” and the Lioncrest Publishing book “Cancer… The Journey from Diagnosis to Empowerment.”.
He is a frequent CME speaker and writer and has extended his educational outreach creating an online CE website “ConsultDrA.com” and Advanced Applications in Medical Practice (AAMP) conferences. AAMP is dedicated to bringing next level learning to healthcare professionals to enhance their knowledge and clinical skills in a CME approved format.
Sharon Gurm, N.D., FABNO
Dr. Gurm received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario. Following that, she completed a fellowship in naturopathic oncology (FABNO). As an academic-athlete, Dr. Gurm received her B.Sc. in Cell Biology & Genetics at the University of British Columbia while playing varsity field hockey. During her time at UBC, she was appointed to a 5-year clinical research position at the BC Cancer Agency, mentored by some of the top oncologists in the country.
In 2007, she founded Port Moody Health – Integrative Medicine & Cancer Care, a multidisciplinary and collaborative healthcare centre. The clinic offers some most advanced and progressive Health Canada approved medical therapies, including local-regional hyperthermia, photodynamic therapy and photobiomodulation. The team consists of naturopathic physicians, nurses, naturopathic residents and other support staff.
Dr. Gurm was the clinical professor and curriculum director of the Integrative Oncology program at CCNM-BINM from 2016-2022, teaching naturopathic medical students the foundations of integrative oncology. Her clinic serves as a teaching site for students and is a CNME-accredited naturopathic oncology residency site with two residency directors.

John Neustadt, N.D.
John Neustadt, ND, graduated from Bastyr University, was medical director of Montana Integrative Medicine and is founder and president of Nutritional Biochemistry, Inc. (NBI) and NBI Pharmaceuticals. He is a member of the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) Corporate Advisory Roundtable. Dr. Neustadt has published over 100 research reviews, written four books and was recognized by Elsevier as a Top Ten Cited Author in the world for his work. Dr. Neustadt’s latest book is Fracture-Proof Your Bones: A Comprehensive Guide to Osteoporosis.
Gurdev Parmar, N.D., FABNO
Dr. Parmar is co-founder and medical director of the largest naturopathic health care facility in Canada, the Integrated Health Clinic (IHC). He is licensed in both British Columbia, Canada and Washington State, USA. IHC was chosen as one of seven original clinics to participate in the Canadian and U.S. Integrative Oncology Study (CUSIOS), an ongoing, multi-clinic, prospective trial. Dr. Parmar has also completed an eight-year retrospective study on his treatment approach, which has been presented internationally, and has recently been published by Cambridge Scholars.
Dr. Parmar is residency director and primary teaching supervisor of a naturopathic oncology residency at IHC, a CNME-approved post-doctoral training facility for Bastyr University. Dr. Parmar established locoregional hyperthermia treatment in Canada in 2009, and in 2018, he was nominated President of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS). He has served on numerous boards over the years, including an appointment to the OncANP Delphi Panel which has begun building consensus statements for the naturopathic oncology field, the first of which was published in Integrative Cancer Therapies.
Dr. Parmar writes and lectures internationally on a wide variety of topics, including clinical hyperthermia, the tumour microenvironment, and integrative cancer care. He has served on the editorial board of several medical journals and is the Lead Author and Editor-in-Chief of the Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology: A Desktop Guide of Integrative Cancer Care, as well as the Pearlz Clinical eBook Series. Dr. Parmar recently published a timely book Arming the Immune System: The Incredible Power of Natural Immunity & the Fever Response.
Rose Paisley, N.D.
Dr. Rose Paisley, ND graduated in 2002, and has been helping patients to identify and create their optimal health with naturopathic medicine. Over the years she has honed her expertise in integrative cancer care, endocrinology, gastroenterology, nutrition, and mental and emotional wellbeing. Dr. Paisley strives to inspire health through education, positive change, personal growth, and evidence-based medicine rooted in natural health strategies. Patients can expect to provide a complete health history, undergo a comprehensive evaluation, and receive an individualized set of gentle, reasonable, and non-invasive recommendations.
