Accreditation
Activities are planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Continuing Education, Inc and Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Continuing Education, Inc is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Continuing Education, Inc designates each live activity for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Each physician should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Additionally, the course will provide Pharmacology and Ethics credits.
The cost for assessment, processing and certificate issuance has been built into the delegate registration fee.
California Naturopathic Physicians
Per California Business and Professions Code section 3635(b), courses are approved for CA NDs through the California Naturopathic Medicine Committee, as it meets the standards for continuing education for licensed physicians and surgeons (AMA Cat 1 CE).
Canada Naturopathic Physicians
Typically, AAMP submits applications to the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia for Pharmacy and general CE hours. We cannot determine what the credit committee’s outcome of each course presented will be until they confirm a decision, so prior to that time, AAMP can only state, “credits applied for”.
