4th International Advanced Integrative Conference
ADVANCED APPROACHES TO COMPLEX INFECTIOUS DISEASE
Dealing with Chronic Infectious Illness in a Very Sick World!
Any physician who deals with chronically ill patients knows the difficulty encountered when part of their presentation involves chronic infections. Regardless of the label (such as Lyme disease, Epstein Barr, Candida, or even Multiple Systemic Infectious Disease Syndrome Information) these patients, once chronic, are the most challenging to treat.
Advanced Applications in Medical Practice Portland 2018 is designed to go beyond the labels and confusion and deal with the realities of treating and managing these chronic cases.
Topical areas include:
- Why are these cases worse than they used to be?
- Why won’t they get better? Comorbidity and resistance factors in chronic infections
- What if they have been on anti-infective medications for years?
- Where do I go with the tough cases?
- How do genomics fit in?
- How do I incorporate environmental medicine and immunology?
- How do I manage the endocrine dysregulation?
- What about the neuro-psychiatric issues?
- What timelines are realistic?
